Re: Kerrigan in Phila. PA

I would recommend checking them on Ancestry.com. I use my local library here in Oak Lawn, Il. They have access to Ancestry.com the library version. It can provide some basic material such as access to the census records, social security death index, and some military records. For some detailed recor...

Re: Kerrigan Family Reunion

Thank's for the information. However, I was looking for something a little closer. Also I don't want to contribute to global warming. That's a job for some of are politicians. I have a Aunt and a cousin who live in Australia, on my mother's side of the family. She and her daughter are from Bohola Pa...

Kerrigan Family Reunion

Does anyone know about a Kerrigan Family reunion that supposedly takes place in Maryland. I came across a reference to one on another site a few years ago. I would like to attend one if there is such a thing.

I dragged her to a Scottish/Irish Festival near Valley Forge. So if I need information on Irish events in Philly, I check them out. I would check th...

Re: Donegal Kerrigans

I wonder if there is a connection. There are at least 6 Kerrigan's buried in Holy Cross Cemetery. Also just for general information there was a Joseph J. Kerrigan Association that existed in Brooklyn, in the 1880's. I have a copy of a flyer for their Grand Afternoon and Evening Promenade that took p...

Re: Donegal Kerrigans

According to my research, a James Kerrigan of County Donegal, came to New York City in 1842. If I have the correct one came from the Village of Curraghomongan in Stranorlar parish. His father's name was Thomas. I understand that by 1901 there were two Kerrigan households in Curraghomongan. I got thi...
